The deletion of files in the MS File Explorer remove only the reference and not the complete data. With specific programs these data can be restored so that under circumstances also after weeks it can be retrace exactly which files were on your computer. In order to prevent this, the abylon SHREDDER overwrites according to the wipe-level the files, freespace or internet traces up to 35 times (Peter Gutman method).

abylon CRYPTDRIVE 5.6

Protect your data against illegal access with the abylon CRYPTDRIVE. The encrypted drives can be open (mount) with passwords, EC-MoneyCard, Health Insurance Card or Certificate Smartcard (PKCS) and use like a normal drive in the File Explorer. During every file operation the encrypting works transparently in the background and nearly without time delay. The encryption occurs with the AES- (256 bit) and Blowfish-Algorithm (448 bit).

Protect your data against illegal access. The abylon SHAREDDRIVE (encrypted data drive) supported the general functions of the File Explorer. In each case the stored files was encrypted (Blowfish - 448 bit / AES - 256 bits) on the hard disc without any additional operation for the user. The SHAREDDRIVE allows multi-user access and can open with the input of a password, an EC-MoneyCard, a Health Insurance Card or a certificate smartcard (PKCS).
