RouteWriter v2.0

RouteWriter imports and exports waypoints for Microsoft MapPoint routes whilst maintaining their route order. Although MapPoint can import and export waypoints as pushpins, their order is usually re-arranged. Waypoints and matching pushpins can be exported to Excel with their waypoint distance, time, coordinate, address data, and all available pushpin data fields. It is also possible to create routes from pushpins in a pre-determined order.

RouteWriter v1.0

RouteWriter is a new add-in for Microsoft MapPoint that exports route waypoints and matching pushpins to Excel. Although MapPoint has an 'export to Excel' option, this is incapable of exporting pushpins in route order. RouteWriter exports the waypoints/pushpins in route order. RouteWriter can also write the waypoint distance, time, coordinate, address data, and all available pushpin data fields; as well as optimize the route order.
