AlaTimer with the friendly assistance of Fred (Flintstone) helps parents control their children?s computer usage each day.
Fred allows each child (Windows user) a pre-configured maximum usage time, for each calendar day, for example 90 minutes. Sixty seconds prior to this period expiring a message will pop-up, asking your child to logoff. AlaTimer could be configured to logoff, shutdown or restart the computer, at the end of this period. Every time the mouse hovers over Fred?s icon, Fred will pop up a short message telling you / your child how long your child has spent on the computer and how much longer your child would have for the day. No more telling, nagging or trying to educate your child to spend less time on the home computer.
